Suzette Viljoen Last 200 runners September 2023
1 year 8 months ago
This was quite a surprise
Last 200 runners goes back to early May 2023
22 winners
15 for Peter Yard from 59 runners 25% winners to runners
2 for Mitchley from 27 runners
1 Laird from 4 runners
1 Ooosthuizen from 55 runners
1 Snaith from 23 runners
1 Klaasen from 6 runners
1 Verdonese from 8 runners
5 other trainers have had 18 runners for zero winners.
she has had no KZN runner this season ????

I found this post thread interesting. Hew string is once again very quiet. She has had 1 winner from 30 runners this season. But it seems to be an annual occurrence.
Lot changed in year. from Jan 2024 to now
17 winners 11 for peter yard 4 for crawford yard 1 from Zietsman 1 for mitchley. Guess she lost interest in PE racing.
If Peter yard starts to fire. imagine her winenrs will come rolling in. Surjay, Pistol pete and Royal Aussie should give her a few big wins.

Has she had a fall out with Justin Snaith ?
He has had huge success for her but seems to train very few horses for her these days .

Her string has been very off form lately.
No winners in 2025 yet.
Few graded race places. 5 wins in last 100 runners
11 wins in last 200 runners going back to 16 March 2024.
She gonna sour to this game soon

......they have over the last few years bought much less.....but since have a stud farm operation and are active in buying the odd breeding stock and along with their many race mares...that progeny is to start hitting sales rings in a few seasons time....they are now locked in and are contributing to racing on another level.....
