Miss L V Woodruff

by a Veterinary Surgeon. Fined R2500.
Miss L V Woodruff
- 12.09.2023
Rule 10.5.17.3 – For having in her possession Schedule 3 medication (ANTROPINE) which was prescribed more than (30) days
previously, is expired or remains unused from or superfluous to a previous prescribed treatment. Penalty: Warning.

Petcam Oral Suspension (Meloxicam) can be used to help reduce the pain from osteoarthritis, it is a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory medication recommended for dogs.(and cats)

The thought of trying to use this medication on horses is simply not at all economical as the recommended dosage for dogs is 4 drops/kg..... so if I were to use this on my 50 kg canine the dosage is only 200 drops....:S now try dose a 500kg horse.... FFS who has the time ....

.....the other offence is for eyedrops....

I read on Sporting Post that there is a request for the Peter's saga to be live streamed.

That will be interesting and transparent

We did enjoy the coverage from Ascot

Plus when I was invited to the Stewards room for an objection in Mauritius 🇲🇺 found it very interesting and informative.

......stray feral cats found in most yards....they are there for the rats....and many Cape trainers have smallish pet dogs that are often in their yards.....however the NHRA are very strict on all medication and will continue to raid , search and fine.....the only way out is to produce a valid prescription even for your pets... ..but these days it is far easier and cheaper to order some medication online and not requiring any prescription....now just imagine living in a state when authorities can raid search and fine people for expired medication they find in your car. handbag or medicine cabinet...:S .
