How bloody clever... just before the start at Turffontein some smart arse decides to cut to Durbanville for a days preview by Grant Knowles .... Channel 240 still does not stream so paying customers just have to suck it up ...

There is no continuity and surely 4racing Turffontein meeting is priority!

One thing I would like to enquire about is Harness racing.


I am not sure how much turnover it generates or any deals we have via TV rights etc ?


Recently I watched a kangaroo holding up proceedings, so guess it was not from Sweden. 

A chap fell off before the start, if your horse tries to run fast and it gallops, you get disqualified. 


Sorry if we have any fans out there but I find it a shocker and feel better options to keep the punters interested would be better. 


I do see greyhound racing on Gallop and I am a huge fan .

This would be my preference.

Dave, the Harness racing doesn't take up coverage from any other location, and it is better than no racing.
UK and Ireland should always take preference from a local exotics and coverage. The USA coverage used to be good at night, but now we don't even have a PA in USA any longer.

NO local racing today and the Tote are so useless they couldn't even get a quartet loaded on Pontefract race 1. Pathetic.

The tab form states which races have exotics or none at all.

Naresh, I was not asking for help on which centers have exotics or not. I am well aware. What is the reason that there is no exotics on the first race of the Flat UK meeting?

Or is the reason incompetence?

Let me just say I watched a harness race with a 1/8 shot and we then went to the Cape where I heard the commentator say " that was the news from trainer Marshall " 😡🤬

The fav for the first race at Durbanville is probably the most punted horse of the day 😪

After the fav was punted from 9/10 to 5/10
We hear from Candice re: runners for entire race meeting .....

This takes us to ....

With 2 mins to go we are told jockey change then plenty drama at start

Directly after the runners hit the line we are back to a harness race where three runners are disqualified for galloping

So yes harness racing is disturbing....

Producers are not allowed to have a race run with no audio apparently, new rule set by the powers that be.
