Tuning the Cowboy

It would be interesting to hear Puffin's thoughts and opinion as to what was behind this amazingly consistent horse putting it all together today. I noticed a bit of emotion in the interview too. I thought he was as good as Desert Links at one stage.

Everything went his way although at level weights he was out by over 10 lbs....he has the ability but just has to have the perfect race...good pace today and andrew handled him superbly...he'll carry on with his consistent runs(we hope!)He was a big backward 3yr old and then had a niggling injury in Dbn last year that set him back 7 months....now he is well and hopefully can go on with it over further as well.He only ran 1.75 lengths behind Links...but they wont meet again as Links is off to the desert!

Nice win Puffin.... and despite the weights I bankered him in everything as I have always believed that he is better than his present rating shows. let's hope the handicapper disagrees with me {smile}
