Hello Everyone
12:45 Race 01 - 1 Hawk Circle is the default contender (getting backed like hell in the betting market) who ran a good race last time out on the poly and has run decently on turf back in western cape, the danger if any has to come from 10 Dumisani who is a filly taking on the males and duly gets 3kgs sex allowance and rider takes off additional 1.5kgs, so looks to have a chance as last run was somewhat ok on the turf over 1400m, additional 200m will be to her liking. Worth consideration for place atleast, if not for win.
13:20 Race 02 - 3 Red William had a MR of 76 when he won over 1900m shouldering hefty weight of 61kgs by a widening margin of 7.25 lengths and the official handicapper preferred to keep him at the same rating and probably he knows something which we punters don't. 5 Climate Control ran a very good race on the poly after change of stable and surroundings. Getting all the market support at the time of writing this post. I am at a loss to explain why 7 Sand Bank is available at longer odds of 15/1, both 7 Sand Bank and 5 Climate Control ran together and had 0.10L between them. Has got a very good jockey on board and plum draw of 1. 8 Euphoric beat the above 2 under the master rider last time and whether the current jockey riding will be able to repeat the feat is a million dollar question. 11 Big Fella in his penultimate run won quite well suggesting more to come and is getting backed in the betting market from 10/1 to 6/1. Overall too many contenders and looks very tricky, tentative pick would be 3 Red William even though is drifting in the market.
Have a good day at the races
Warm Regards
