Let’s no best around the bush, a few years ago the Vaal straight main track could handle plenty of rain

You would never think Du plessis was a loss to racing

.... the loss of the sand track may have caused the surrounding turf to not" drain" as adequately as it once did......water is known to take the path of least resistance and finds its way through to the less dense sand when the adjacent turf becomes too saturated.....was it not Duppie that had a hand in closing down the sand.....:unsure:

Multi anyone who wants to tell me Phum was better than 4Racing doesn't understand how much damage Phum ,Jooste and his cronies did! From the open bet debacle to raping the industry through dividends to shareholders.And the sale of all their assets to closing down tracks.The facilities were never maintained.

@good - CHALLENGE ACCEPTED

Hit me with your best headline and opening paragraph....and more.

My knowledge and understanding of Phum is a little more than elementary, but probably not as intimate as yours. I took an interest in Phum's business from January 2019. So, i will eat humble pie if you serve it.

.....don't think that James will take that bait......but imvho they both are the very same animal.....the latter is simply a cosmetic make over......and the sooner the plug is pulled on them.... the better.....as local racing simply cannot continue to survive with the duplication of dual media broadcasting for starters.....where already a big chunk of change can easily be saved .....and no matter how many golden oldies decide to take a package it will save zilch compared to what the dual broadcasting situation is pissing away......my money is on the smarter people that made the move as they could be with the ultimate winner and will be in charge of running a far better single entity.....;)
