Just having a quick look
First race very open with first time 2 year Olds and a bit input from the leading stable would help .
Second another open looking affair.
Third ditto
Focus will be on the carry over pick 6
First leg
Main Defender banker with possibly Dyce as backup?
Second leg top three in betting could be enough
Third leg
Sandringham Summit the obvious banker but let's hear from David?
Forth leg
The big one and we will need few
Cousin Casey, Safe Passage and Zeus are my early thoughts
Fifth and sixth fill your boots and betting slips
Good Punting 👍

2 Days to the big one! Any trainer interviews, jockey interviews, discussions, panels, etc? Irrespective of the stake - this is where you can't beat the build-up to the July..
Its great that so much effort is going into selling tickets and getting people on course, but would have been nice to start feeding punters with some information along the way, and to open up the tote betting, considering the fields have been finalized for some time now.

Possibly a night where the bookies stretch the odds might have been an idea but Betway is tote focused, so that is probably why that option not considered.
I am hoping for a reasonable pick 6 payout in the region on 10 grand with many winners vs a few bombs and a R5M payout
Good Punting 👍

Good on Betway for staying true to their cause! Tote operators are obviously fast asleep for not opening up the betting to stimulate tote turnover and encourage the early multiples / all ons on the tote for the big day.

Surely on big days like this we could have more carryovers into the pools. The last 2 weeks alone I would think has built enough to double the pick 6 and make a mega pool
I wonder if the 1 million quartet carryover money comes from the pick 6 pools. They should daily show the amount balances that they are holding on all carryover bets, I really prefer the old way and trusting way of if cpt has a carryover pick6 it goes to very next cpt meeting and gets everyone involved and not this way of when there is a carryover we will sit on the punters money and dangle a carrot in dries and drabs.
We are seeing improvements in many areas but this needs to be sorted.
