# HOLLYWOODBETS DURBANVILLE TUESDAY 21 NOVEMBER 2023 COMMENTS BY WARREN LENFERNA
Race 1: Preview: TEQUILA SKY (4) ran well in second place last time and can go one better. She can be expected to be hitting the line hard. QUICK TRIP (6) ran a fair race last time and based on overall form, can give plenty cheek – bright chance. TRES CHIC (8 ) does have an awkward draw to deal with but nearly won last time and again gets the services of in-form Grant Van Niekerk. (Warren Lenferna 4-6-8 )
Race 2: Preview: If LICKETY SPLIT (8 ) cannot get it all right today, then she may find it tough in future. She is drawn widest of the eight-horse party, but still, should be a very hard horse to oppose. Possible banker. The race should be on for the minor prize money between TIME FOR LOVE (3) and GRANDIOSA (7). Grandiosa being the value selection. (warren Lenferna 8-3-7)
Race 3: Preview: NAUSHON (3) might not get an easier opportunity than he gets today at getting out the maiden ranks and is the one to beat. In saying that, the only thing that sways me in the camp of the Eric Sands trained / Richard Fourie ridden APACHE CHIEF (2) is the fact that Apache Chief more than likely has a ton more improving to do, whereas with Naushon, what we see, is what we get with him. Ignore Apache Chief’s last run and he could be tough to beat. FLASH LIGHTNING (6) has a place chance. (Warren Lenferna 2-3-6)
Race 4: Preview: STORM BOULEVARD (2) is learning what racing is all about and looks cherry ripe for the win. WEATHER KING (7) placed at long odds last time. If confirming that recent improvement, he can be competitive again and much the same can be said for MASTEROFALLSTORMS (1). (Warren Lenferna 2-7-1)
Race 5: Preview: EXCEEDER (8 ) ran a cracker last time and is overdue his next career win – today is selected to be the day! EPIKLEROS (7) won her maiden over this course and trip and despite taking on the boys, could run well first time in open company – place chance. AVIGNON (1) can be included in the quartet. (Warren Lenferna 8-7-1)
Race 6: Preview: BONANZA (5) is knocking loudly at the door and can go one better. WILLIAM WEST (3) caught the eye first up out the maidens and based on that, should be a huge contender here – each way chance and AXL (1) should be very competitive in his comeback, if not being in dire need of it. Respect and include for the quartet. (Warren Lenferna 5-3-1)
Race 7: Preview: BLUFF ON BLUFF (7) finished second behind a decent sort last time (October Morn) and judged on that effort alone, rates the one to be with. ICY BLAST (2) is consistent and has obvious each way claims and TOUGH TERRAIN (5) comes in with a handy galloping weight which will make him very competitive – chance. (Warren Lenferna 7-2-5)
Race 8: Preview: MASKED VIGILANTE (2) gets a cozy draw, has solid form and nearly won last time. He is selected to go one better. OPEN HIGHWAY (7) more than likely needed his last run which was his local debut and comeback run and is sure to have come on from that – he can get much closer now and provide cheek to the first choice. HARD WINTER (3) ran on powerfully to win his maiden last time and despite this being tougher, can be competitive. (Warren Lenferna 2-7-3)
