Yes the standard of horses is at an all time low,new blood needed badly as none of our current 'champions' are world class and won't be competitive in the international front.
Jockeys also not many Lloyd's and Coetzee's out there.
Trainers....can we trust them to bring a horse back fit from a rest or do they now need a couple of runs before they at peak fitness?
The MR system also allows connections to manipulate the merit rating system easily with no control from our stipes.
No doubt it's harder to try make money these days as too many things against punters.
