Good morning all.
We are back in Pretoria and back to normal for a few days before we hit the road to Hillcrest.
We arrived at 9.50 on Wednesday and in keeping with tradition the power went off at 10.00.
We then had more load shedding later and blow me (excuse the pun) we then had an unscheduled break on Thursday morning around 4 in the morning and we still have no power at this stage after 30 hrs and no indication when it will be back?
Let's just say we have a Communication Breakdown between the municipality and ourselves...
After numerous calls they promised to send someone to check the prepaid meter in the outside box as we have a substantial credit.
After waiting 5 hours we called to find out what had happened to the technician? Only to be informed that he'd been to the house, checked the meter and found nothing wrong.
I had a business card on the box that cleary had not been opened! No one had been to check the meter, but hey why are we not surprised! that they've closed the fault job card based on someone's inability to do their job🤬
Today starts a new round of communications which I hope will not Breakdown.
As far as the weekend is concerned we have plenty of Punting options and it's worth listening to Zietsmans comments on the site and hope that the shares he had on offer give a quick return to the punters that came on board to help the man feed the horses 🐎

I understand there has been a Breakdown in communication between Ziets and Humble as this is probably his last chance but all the best to the stables runners today .
We have the big WSB meeting from the Vaal on Saturday with some big exotics on the cards.
The same can be said about Kenilworth on Sunday .
