Not the correct thread, did you guys watch the second race from Meydan. The 0.14 favourite, the saddle slipped going around the turn for home and the horse still won by about 6 lengths, quite amusing.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

What a fantastic days racing. These are the type of horses that bring people back to racing. We need champions and today we saw many that could grab that mantle in the next few months.

Race 1 Happy Mo was the right one and won really well. Wernars had a quiet day after that.
Race 2 Pistol Pete smashed them once again. Peter/Habib off and running
Race 3 Almond Sea even more impressive. Hope she is sound post race. Peter yard so good for racing.
Race 4 Mark Khan win was very good. The post race interview gave me toothache.
Race 5 Great finish. Humdinger is a lovely horse but Silver hills made the 4 kgs count in the end.
Race 6 MDK 1/2 but Gimme A Nother just different class. Silver Sanctuary for the Oaks and GAN to the Empress club on champions day????
Race 7 Purple Pitcher what a turn around since changing stables. Fantatsic for the Trainer and Owner. Sandringham Summit maybe just to far at Turfies. But still top top run.
Race 8 Main Defender picked the correct race and smashed them. Awesome win . Princess Calla gallant in 3rd
Race 9 Handicap and the spooks arrived.
Race 9 4 for Peter/Habib combo.

Best race day from a racing fans point of view for a very long time. Lots of horses to be excited about.
