We are racing "Tomorrow"

Good morning all.

We will be at Turffontein "tomorrow" to watch the last big meeting up North before the focus moves to KZN.

I have had a look at the card and was hoping for more exciting entries but I suppose understandable at this stage of the game.

The good news is that the power has been restored in Pretoria East after 8 days, where electric gates, fridges and robots were the main challenges.
A word of thanks to those poor people who basically beg at the intersections and are always prepared to jump into the middle of the road to keep the traffic flowing for a small donation.
I understand it’s illegal and outlawed by authorities but until the powers that be get their act together, this is the least of our problems.

Racing today is from PE and given his track record Richard should continue his winning ways. He had another three winners yesterday and is now on 265 wins for the season. I would suggest a couple of ATC bets on Richard's mounts today onto “tomorrow “.

The local card

Race one
Legend of Arthur can win the opener for Richard but no great confidence.

Race two
World of Alice can give Tarry another winner but again not easy.

Race three
The impressive Buffalo Storm Cody hopefully will have a few ATCs running but can’t forget Almond Sea and Pistol Pete under same circumstances.

Race four
Simply Majestic looks best but a few required for exotics

Race five
White Pearl first choice but again no banker

Race six
A few required in exotics.

Race seven
Pure Predator, Aragosta and Hotarubi should fight out the big race but one day Safe Passage might come back to best.

Race eight
I have punted Lucky Lad at 15/10 and is my best bet to cover the day for Tarry/Fourie combination.

Race nine
Could be a field race but I am sticking with one of my favourite horses Zeus.
It has 62kilos over 2 miles but will trust Gavin to keep his incredible record in tact.
If it does win, I would suggest sending him to Mullins for a shot at the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham.

Race ten
Looks like a match between Celtic Rumors vs Zinovi

Tomorrow the big focus overseas is watching WIllie Mullins take the British jumps crown.
Sandown: Mullins/Townend have El Fabiola, the Cheltenham faller has to beat Jonbon it the race of the day.
They also have Impaire El Passé and this entire meeting is worth watching.

Liverpool have gone from the title race and both Man City and Arsenal are firing on both cylinders. Although the Gunners have goal advantage City remain the hot favs.

My song choice today is certainly not one of Dave’s favs.
However I was very impressed by this young lass, both her personality and voice.

Good Punting
