Wary of the short prices with the horses having been primed for Saturday, and now having to go again on Wednesday. All it takes is one horse to handle the change better to find the shorty beaten.

The track manager also needs to explain why he put 20mm irrigation over the past week causing a pen reading of 25?
Logically the aim should be to deliver good going, not good to soft.

PeterD, I am pretty sure that to keep the grass from being burnt he had to put plenty of irrigation. We have had Temps of 33/34° this week and 35° predicted for Friday. We were not supposed to be on the turf today as well and Saturday is a big meeting.

Strong tailwind will suit front running tactics.

Makes Humdinger even easier to back at 5/1 in Drill Hall.

Celtic Beauty could be the big improver in Fillies Guineas and looks value for place bet.

Colts Guineas is most interesting race I think. Not cut and dry for Sandringham Summit IMO.
