Don't let me be misunderstood π
11 months 1 week ago - 11 months 1 week ago
Good morning all and we are back from the Kruger after a wonderful time with the family. We were fortunate enough to see many animals but the big 5 eluded us yet again.
We also missed the Ostriches as they were having meetings with the NHRA in connection with the TC02 which can now only be regarded as a fiasco and another blow to racing with numerous scratchings of fancied horses.
On the subject of Animals you will recall a top British band of the same name in and around the sixties. Eric Burdon was the lead singer and The House of the Rising Sun was probably their biggest hit.
My song choice for today'sΒ article was also a polite way of sending yet another message to the NHRA.
"I'm just a soul who's intentions are good, please don't let me be misunderstood".
You must have watched Peter Kay on "miss heard lyrics" it's a classic.Β
I always thought that it was "I'm just a "fool" who's intentions are good "
I have been following the numerous comments made on various platforms leading up to the July and the potential for disaster on a world stage could be very difficult to recover from.
We can only hope that everything runs smoothly on the big day πΒ
On the racing front I have actually given up on local ATCs and exotics due to TC02 testing and have been playing UK racing .
However I'm still excited about the July fever and I'm looking forward to some great races
My early thoughts are as follows:
An early look at the Computaform revealed that the exotics will be MASSIVE.
I plan to take Green With Envy and See It Again for a pick 6 but will probably have to add a few moreπ
Gimme Countess and Double Grand Slam testing exclusion might help reduce any drama.
Note! Elvis is running a July competition and ABC have decided to top it up with a couple of grand up front. Just check terms and conditions for TC02 π
Good Punting π
