Sportingwebs "Brents Banker"
16 years 7 months ago
Hi Everyone,
A good weekend of sport ahead but I am unlikely to punt much as I will be at Sun City trying to squeeze my body down the Temple of Courage.
Not being in the best of form I have decided to try and (as Neil Andrews put it on his show this morning) “buy some money” by sticking a few short priced games together.
Brent’s Banker
Manchester United, Chelsea and Sundowns all to win at 1/1 with Betting World (yes I know Sundowns lost to the self same Bay United last weekend)
I am going to put 10 units down and it is likely to be my only fixed odds bet for the weekend although I may be tempted by the rugby where I like New Zealand on the minus (differing with Sportingweb’s Gavin Bates)
There are plenty of betting previews on Sportingweb including Premier League and PSL where I see the suggested 13/20 on Sundowns as already disappeared
Also check out Chris Sturdy from www.goodforthegame.co.za first quarter report on the Premier League – it is a good read.
Have a good one and if my treble does not come in this week then don’t be surprised to hear that someone has jumped from the top of the Lost City on Sunday night.
Finally the usual reminder to catch Garth on the radio tomorrow 07h30-08h00 1485AM Radio Today or Channel 169 of the DSTV Audio and also the BETTING WORLD show at around 21h00 on channel 232 tonight.
Cheers
Brent Graham

Hey Brent,
It's fun having a go at the long odds too so I'll put down a few rands on the following treble Chelsea, Free State Stars (over Pirates) and Tottenham of course!
Have a good weekend.
Cheers

Hi Trevor,
Yip I normally back the longer prices but am so out of form and am desperate to trun the corner. Great value in oppossing the likes of Pirates in the PSL these days - bookies give them too much respect.
Cheers
