Thru the course of the season we have seen 82 jockeys ride.
On Saturday we have a triple header with Zimbabwe racing.
44 Jockeys have been engaged to ride on Saturday at the 3 three meetings
6 are currently suspended
3 are riding abroad long term
6 ride exclusively in the Eastern Cape. They don't travel for nothing it seems.
Leaving 10 KZN jocks available and
13 jocks that are either overseas injured or have not ridden since 2023.
Between 2022/2023 season and current season we lost 10 jocks. and
between 2018/2019 season and current season we lost 34 jocks.
Not to many triple header days in SA racings future at this rate.
