After the disaster of Cruise Control at Fairview yesterday - I somehow made a proft (BP & PA) by not banking the hottie in the last - anyway we fight on; today I think it looks like easy going, but caution as many of the 'bankers' have soft spots imo - and it is the first time in a while on the Stand-side track, so who knows how the draws down the straight will play - thoughts ...
R1: On form I think both the 2 favorites can get rolled - Sunfire each-way for me
R2: Grey Jet being supported in the market to roll the favorite, but I'm not convinced - perhaps Hemisphere has been taken out in the week for a reason ....
R3: Does look a 3-horse contest - boxed trifecta ?
R4: How ready is Lucky Lad - and William ? Imo not a good idea to take the short odds on LL - I fancy Red Bomber from Captain Peg
R5: Open race and the best-weighted column does not give many clues - perhaps Command Pilot is ready enough - and I do think Twin Turbo will finish on the top 3
R6: Joint favorites - Greaterix gets lumps of weight from Pistol Pete - but if they are both a bit ring-rusty, Rainbow Reward could take advantage - Tchaikovsky a big price ....
R7: Reputation on the line - Greeting My Master - but I will be playing to beat him; I see Mastership has been taken out, so if one does think that GMM is not a banker, best to take the fiield imo - as even PrinceofGreen has a chance on some form-lines
R8: VJ's Angel has to give a lot of weight away, but she looks one of the better 3 yr-old fillies, so should win at these prohibitive odds; Rosy Lemon bettter further, but could run in the money at these weights
R9: Another reputatiion on the line; Heather's Boy impressive Maiden win and form has been franked; at the odds I'm siding with Bacchus though
R10: I do agree with the market support for Theatre of Life - at the price still looks a bit of value; I thought Silver Parasol might be a danger, but on form she is held by Easy on Me - so I'm including that one to upset
Enjoy

Pistol Pete 9KGs to the winner. Top run.
William Longsword/LuckyLad great race. Lets hope Spies keeps his champ to sprints for rest of season.
Marauding Horde could be worth following now that he is gelded.
Potberrie Still some gas in the Gray/Yeni partnership. Most now in their place
