I got a strange voicemail today:

"Good Morning xxx It's Warren here I'm calling on behalf of Grant Knowles we are assisting the board of directors for the Racing Association. If you have recieved a proxy form for the AGM on the 26th of November please can you fax it back to 086 610 2958, if you have not recieved one please give me a shout on the number that I have just called you from and I will fax you one during office hours so that I can have one sent though to you"

I guess the RA are very keen to get those resolutions passed

Best I post this now - in a few weeks time it could be construed as bringing the RA into disrepute...

Besides the after party entry is there any reason that forces us to be members,,ie are we still allowed access to the racecourse if we not RA members?

I think Administrator must get a job as a publicist for a political party...the only factual info that can be gleaned from his post is that there is an election forthcoming...everything else is just innuendo and hearsay. Would love him to provide the names of the 6 members who can vouch for his story..

peter naidoo does not return calls, respond to emails, or keep appointments!

is this typical of indians?

My vote: (MK?) Peter Naidoo, Shilowa, Lekota, lol!
It took the first 2 14 yrs to find the freedom charter!
Plus, they resigned in solidarity with their president.
if we win, and recall the RA president, then peter will also resign?

De Broglio & Naidoo re-elected to RA board

Racing Association directors Michael de Broglio and Peter Naidoo have been re-elected to the national board. Both had reached the end of their statutory periods of office, but were entitled to stand for re-election.

De Broglio received 218 votes, Naidoo 177 and the third candidate, Robin Bruss, 175.

adios bookies

nope, just punting on the line 'plenty chiefs, no indians'! (poetic licence!)

and to add some verve to this thread!

So, Peter had just two rounds left in his AK(MK)47; russians sure did give him just enough ammo!

Umlilo...with your kind of rhetoric...you should be in politics, not on a racing forum.

PS. The breeding and training of a horse determines it's ability and performance.
The colour of a horse does not give it any preferences, so with your kind of mindset, would it be fair to say that all black horses do not perform at the same level as other colour horses?
