Is there someone that has Snaith's comments on his horses that will be running at Fairview today?
It would be interesting to find out what he says about his horses in:
Race 1
Race 4
Race 5

Back on the Turf today - after a week of abandoned meetings, I'm sure many are itching to have a go - thoughts ....
R1: Global Reef the obvious one, but very skimpy odds - I'd rather have a go at A Month of Sundays - gets a weight advantage in this and form not too bad
R2: American Flame another obvious choice, but at odds-on, rather take him on with Lanciafiamme - chance ride for Fourie and pole position - 2nd run after an admittedly moderate debut on the Poly
R3: A more competitive handicap; again Master Forester should not miss a place; have a look at the biggest outsider Guarding the Wall though - tongue-tie gets removed and although only a 1-time winner, had some fair runs over 1200 at this track, and may appreciated the step up to 1400
R4: I think this is open; favorite Gimme More Time will appreciate more ground, so I prefer the chances of Machachev who is knocking at the door; others with chances are Slings and Arrows, Mo the Man, Waz Wouter and even the old man El Romiachi, who is well in courtecy of the allowance - despite looking better on Poly, has placed 2nd 3 times over this track and trip
R5: Luna Halo hard to beat - holds stable mate Official Secret who looks better over more ground; Red Sash more to do at the weights and best recent form on Poly; Among the Clouds plenty to find at these weights, even though Cape form probably brings her closer
R6: Catch Your Breath all the rage, but best recent form on Poly and also imo has a big weight (just take a look at her run when beaten by stable mate Call to Glory - admittedly on Poly); as CYB is very short in the betting, others are offered at big odds - have a look at Chere For Me who looks decidedly better on Turf, while Strange Magic (much better off at the weights with the favorite) and Sun Spectacular are also quoted at big odds - then we have the Snaith visitor - I think not a bad idea to include as many as the budget allows
R7: Another competitive handicap - imo Wordsworth should at least find a place; many others to consider
R8: Probably one of the bookies' favorite horses Sharapova (favorite again today despite recent form on Poly) must have a chance, but worth taking on; I think Komesans Passion is a big price, while Miss Shaivi is often thereabouts
Enjoy
