Genius Form Study or .....

On the Gallop Tv Wednesday show Sheldon mentioned he is big on IBUTHO at Greyville today. He was of the opinion that 16/1 was good value. He was confident the horse will "definitely" shorten to around 8/1 because he was going to have a good bet on it.
The horse is currently 8/1.
My question is what did he know that the bookies didn't? All the more strange as Hollywood own the horse. Did they price the horse incorrectly given he is back on his favoured surface ?
There's was always talk of insiders using their access  to jockeys and trainers to get inside info for personal benefit. It that's the case, it leaves a bitter taste.
Anyways I'll be watching this race with added interest.

Hi Sheldon is a Merit Rating drop man.

This horse has dropped from a MR90 to MR82. That is 8 points or 4kg

i have little doubt that ''form study' is the reason that the Matric pass rate has been lowered to something like 15% - thousands "studying " the same info on 10 horses and finding different answers - just wonder if this tip was foung while singing or painting the picture
my perusal of the race says 5.Global Movement, swinger5&8

Ibutho finished way down field, some 12 lengths behind the winner Notable at a staggering 50-1
