If the Cape Derby goes ahead with just one true Grade 1 horsen in the field and the rest mid MR80S next year we may see a grade 2 Cape Derby.

What went wrong in the Western Cape?
Where are all the Top three year olds?
Did the Merit rating risk scare them away?
What about moving the race to end of the season as party of winter series?
Why are Gauteng/KZN not going to WC any more.
This season we saw very few with exception of Gavin Van Zyl. 9 winners
Binda went with Hollywood horses.
Muscutt not sure why he went?
Azzie and Azzie had a 2 winners from 6 runners. Tarry no wins from 20 runners.
