Snaith racing masters of the Merit rating system!!!!

Eight on eighteen wins grade 1 no MR increases deemed to have run to 115 in the derby. So a free hot for the snaith yard.
This also limits damage to his other horses that ran close to the winner.
Siddley grade 3 winner also only 6 points for win.
Top the trainer log by a country mile but only has 4 horses in the top 44 rated horses in SA.
Cafe Culture and See it again are living hard under the MR system

Agree 💯 % . Jono is an accountant so he must be the brains of the operation whilst Justin is an outstanding horseman.
Their PRO work is second to none , particularly their beach outings to Muizenberg horses love it.
Very well run operation and no surprises to see them top of the log again.

When one considers the winning time of the Derby and that it was at least 8 lengths slower than the Met time over the same distance then it makes total sense that no adjustment to the MR was made.
The question should rather be, was this a Grade 1 Derby field? The shrewd form gurus will take all of this into account in the KZN main season.
