Thanks for the confirmation. The maximum being 57.0kg with the 2.0kg WFA allowance for the colts, is that correct? If this is correct and say Eight On Eighteen goes on to win both the Guineas ans Daily News 2000, he could come into the race as the highest rated horse and could put many three year old under sufferance.

Just my opinion, some have cottoned on to this, see Eight On Eighteen is now outright favourite at 5/1.

This is all well and good, provided See It Again stays in the race, which i am hoping he does.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

If Eight On Eighteen wins both the Guineas and the Daily News 2000, they would be silly not to run him in the July, especially off his merit rating - just my opinion though.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
