R1, fancy One Fine Winter (1/1), who has shown that she is above average since debuting. First time out in the Listed Storm Bird Stakes, finished a decent second against expectations (drifted from 16/1 out to 33/1). Second time out, won convincingly by 4.30 lengths against the colts. Last time out finished a comfortably second in the Wilgebosdrift Fillies Guineas to the PE raider who was always fancied to win the race. She does have the fastest time over the course and distance, make her the one to beat.
Race 2, whilst beaten by the ruling favourite, Green Diamond, last time out, King Harald was badly hampered and had to switch at a crucial time, by then the front runners had set sail for home. Did recover well and ran on stoutly in the closing stages. Certainly the horse that has attracted the most money on the card, opened 5/1 at WSB, then a 15.% deduction following the scratching of Lava County, then 7/2, 33/10 and now 26/10. If the support is anything to go by, then he is the one to be with.
Race 7, Truth (2/1), one from one course and distance and all 4 wins have been at Turffontein. Despite the 6 point penalty, think he has been cleverly placed here, and should pull off the hattrick.Think he will start shorter come race time.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Very small fields for a feature race day.
I fancy Jingleberry/ Truth double today.

Few each-ways at decent odds to consider - Porridge Boy in the 2nd, Battle Ground in the 3rd,Chayvana in the 7th, Presley in the 8th, Longsword in the 9th and Sakhala whatever in the last; best bet imo Almond Sea in the 4th
Enjoy
Enjoy

So few horses, so many cameras... And they spoil it to me. Perhaps others prefer this style...
