Veale will not be invited to Hong Kong and even if, by some miracle, he was, he wouldn't last 3 months. Professional behavior on and off course is not optional in Hong Kong, it's a requirement.

would love to believe that for the sake of Racing bit that betting drift is so alarming and when you watch this rider is the only one not pushing his mount....if the stipes decide to watch the replay of the last start of this horse and compare when that jockey started riding her as opposed to Fortune....then they must also ask MR De Kock if it was his instruction that Fortune try to protect the Merit Rating of a 4 yr old struggling Maiden by trying to win by a paper width....all i can say is it stinks badly and there are other rides recently that deserve anothet look....i remember people saying Fortune deserves to earn a living...give him a chance...Do punters not deserve to earn a crust having a punt on a 4-10 or should we all say he brings such fun and laughter to the jockey room and tv screen so losing a few bets is the price we must pay for his talent...I think not

The problem started when the wise men in Cape Town did nothing about his ride on Tenango .

He thinks he is untouchable. Whilst I think he is a character and good for racing he needs to tow the line. Some of his recent comments about the calibre of jocks he rides against have been in bad taste.

Well Mr Fortune take a long look in the mirror tonight you were outridden by an appie today !

Whilst we can all agree that Fortune is a very talented and experienced jockey, I believe that he is no good for racing. His horses all seem to drift or shorten alarmingly, and there is no doubt he is involved in some sort of 'graft' or other....

......I recall years ago when the Candyman went down that dark path and was no-longer riding..... he was seen doing the rounds at betting establishments flanked by some less than savory characters.....he may have since given up that sh!t that got the better of him.... but he still knows how to make more than his stake and riding fee.....oh my
