When does the tote take their rake ?

.....today at the Parak meeting race 6 all three placed horses paid R1-00.....yet after the winning post our dividends showed much larger dividends and the 10 horse R1-70.....now I said that those Malaysian venues are dodge...... but also seen similar bigger swings on our local racing dividends and more so from Race Coast venues.....so are they raking in running or before results are posted....huh

The TOTE when first invented in the UK or the US, the takeout was set at 10%... Only greed has now got the takeout so high.

Imagine if it was 10% and punters could actually benefit from playing the tote!

......dividend swings like these are an indication of p!ss poor pools which are rife for manipulation....the operator rake or host fees is not helping this dire situation.....more and more punters will be driven to the open bet....oh my

Just over a week back ,the races at Hong Kong was delayed , reason being that commingling partners data not updating.
After immense delays on the tote the hot pot favourite ended up paying R8.80 a place and some ridiculous dividends on other short priced horses on the day .
