One of my favourite races on Day 1 at the Royal Meeting is the Coventry over 6 Furlongs for 2 year olds.
21 runners this year .
A real mixed bag and they betting 5/1 the field. Gstaad from O'Brien is current favourite . If "the lads" as Aiden refers to them put their cash down it won't start 5/1 I can assure you.

Godolphin have nominated a 2 year old colt called Treanmor in the Chesham on Saturday over 7 furlongs. I thought he was a cert for the Coventry but they obviously think he is more suited to this. If he runs watch him , he is a superstar in the making.

Royal Ascot, the second of the two great Racing weeks in the year.
Subject to his health I hope maybe that Dave can be able to see some of it.
R1 NOTABLE SPEECH laid out for this.
Rapscallion weak favourite and prior to his season opener he was off for a long time!
R4 RULING COURT did himself a favour by ducking the Derby,Now has ground he prefers but have lot of respect for the Grey horse!
R7 CHARLUS trainer Willie Mullins has good record in staying races at Ascot.
