1 month 3 weeks agoOne thing I have learnt...horses are like people...just because I am content and feel good to post...does not mean that I can beat Usain Bolt or Muhammad Ali on their worst days...Pirho must have the best strike rate picking winners going to the start, phenomenal bud πππ
A class horse at 50% can beat most horses over any distance, at any time...I have not learnt how to see that...

Strongly disagree with the 'any distance' comment lol:)Β but i have to second that statement. You certainly have an Eagle Eye to picking them on the canter down. Im not on here alot but when im on, i see you pickong them. Well done

1 month 3 weeks ago - 1 month 3 weeks agoI'm a big In Full Flight fan...what was his best distance? I don't know...but I hear what you say...I feel for trainers that battle to find the best distance for the horse, like The Real Prince...he's done whats been asked over the shorter distances, but you have to have guts to push his limits with a potential loss...it's easier to take the confident routeOne thing I have learnt...horses are like people...just because I am content and feel good to post...does not mean that I can beat Usain Bolt or Muhammad Ali on their worst days...Pirho must have the best strike rate picking winners going to the start, phenomenal bud πππ

100%Β agree with you. But somehow...Trainers in other parts of the world almost know exactly what distances a horse needs...im specifically refering to HK Horses. During the VAAL SAND TRACK era i had a BREEDING CHART on here which was very good...identufying potencial 'Sandsters' as i liked to call them. With Breeding it tells alot about the 'potencial distances' a horse can run...but we all know there are exceptions. That is where SECTIONAL TIMING comes it. It can pinpoint exactly(to a 90% degree)Β the best distances for a horse. Ofcoz, it took me years to master (to a certain degree) what to look for in times. So from where i stand, any trainer worth his salt should implement ST into his training like all HK Trainers do. The Tools are there to use. Out the Top of my Head....LITTLE SUZIE and SUGAR MOUNTAIN are 2 perfect examples
