The Real Prince will be the one to beat, despite the antepost betting.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I thought MONTIEN may be the value bet over this distance until he swerved off form in KZN....

Mercury Sprint, Tenango, even the draw (13/14) can't deter them from running the horse, was 3/1 in the antepost.

Callan Murray declared for Dave the King. Get on now. I dont see it getting beat.
My opinion ... Murray is like a 3 kg penalty ... just my thought.

Have you been picking mushrooms again, gets on very well with DTK. The distance is the biggest issue

The Real Prince is the Champion. He will win much easier than the July.
All of Dave the King , Gladatorian and Royal Victory will fight out the places.
That's my quartet ,banker with 3 horses could pay R100.take it many times .
The Gold Cup ,I rate Madison Valley as the horse to best with King Peles roving in Trifecta and Quartets .
Sid Moodley has 3 horses here and they can all stay .Maybe triple float his Horses with the field as well.

Imo ... The Real Prince will struggle at the weights to beat Gladatorian, Royal Victory and See It Again, who is ideally suited to the trip .... then we have the 3yr-old who beat older horses at WFA ... so a competitive race ... not to mention Dave the King, who should also be ideally suited to the track and trip

Has there been an explanation as to why 8/18 not running?
