You Be The Judge?

The latest ( last? ) episode of YOU BE THE JUDGE was never flighted - 'technical reasons' were cited.

My habitually suspicious mind is wondering why this programme now appears to have disappeared off the radar - replaced by a number of wishy washy offerings featuring the usual praise singers.

Along with the apparent disappearance of the programme is the name of Neil Andrews.

Methinks the mandarins didn't like what young Neil was up to. Or is someone out there able to give us the truth? I'm just asking.

Let's hope the Phumelela Gestapo have not been busy again............

Hi Garrik - They were probably scared away by our posts on he subject as it must be one of the most debate inspiring issues in racing at the moment. We did discuss Grants comments to Nico during an Ausie Donkey cart race which they probably thought no one was listening to.

There is a definite need to bring racing to the forefront of betting and drag it out of the dregs. Only through a positive marketing campaign, targeting the younger generation and our diamonds, will racing get there. There is enough of black middel class that racing could be pulling in but it is just not happening. Start campaigning with the unraced punter (one who knows not of the joys of racing) and develop them into owners.

Unfortunately no one sees the value in this and they continue to try and glamourise the sport to us but we already know what it is all about.
