Clever Trevor in the first does look the right one but 1/3 is a disgusting price considering a few first timers that are nicely bred and a horse like trip to peace comes out of a race where formline was franked during the week with a easy winner. How could that be 7/1 even a place you are better off.
It’s all very well putting clever Trevor in a multiple but at end of the the day you are still backing it at a silly price, would have thought should be bigger. Win or lose but in terms of value it’s confusing

Clever Trevor opened (HW - 5/10) and (WSB - 5.5/10), at those prices would you have stuck it in a multiple then. I find it convenient to have more that one account because WSB always has Saturday's meeting betting up on a Wednesday, HW the Thursday. You can always have an early strike before fancy shortens - just a thought.
For what it's worth, Quiet Winter opened 13/10, see it is trading at 7/10 now.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

A rainy day here so money will be wasted on SA racing. I have decided to try a strategy which worked really well for me MANY years ago when fractional betting first came out. (yes, I am that old)....
In each race my selection call it A , then my next four selections B,C,D,E ..... in TRIFECTA's and QTETS structured like o
TFA= B,C,D,E x A x Field
QTET= A x B,C,D,E x Field x B,C,D,E ......
I did each race today for a total outlay of R622. Most TFA's were 100% and the Qtets 50% ....
For the record the same could be done using betting odds... Fav x next four in the betting with the same structures as recorded above.
Enjoy the days punting and break a leg !!

Starts of easy - but gettting progressively more difficult as the day go on - I fancy a few each-way at the odds - Wagram in the 4th; Spy Story in the 6th; Coming in Hot in the 7th; Passage of Power in the 9th (has to beat Blizzard Snow)
Enjoy
Enjoy
