Was it necessary to cut his interview short only to show the menu of todays racing for 10 minutes?

Surely the program managers know the length of the going to post show as it was flighted last night. Were they perhaps trying to give the appearance that this show was live? Bad planning and I would be pissed off if I were Dees. This guy puts a lot of effort into his interviewing and should at very least be able complete his portion of the show. If there are time constraints then plan properly.

Sure no time restraints have been watching a frozen screen for 20 mins?
