Just caught the last few minutes of the presenters talking and according to Snaith he gave them all the confidence in the world that One Magic would win.
Sure he had no luck in the race .....thanks to the enigma that is Craig Zackey....but he was never going like a horse that was so confidently expected to win by the trainer.
Was watching Betfair even before I heard the presenters and the way they where laying this horse you would have expected it to come exactly where it finished, well beaten.
For every 1000 to win there was a 5000 lay plenty times.
Just goes to show some know way more than the trainer.

I put field...I could not understand why if the horse is so special 'luxury" according to the jockey that won on him they would race him here instead of KZN or wait until summer....and just for info Zackey did not tip the horse...he said he had not worked it but the Snaith yard were very confident...

Exactly Mr.H
Why would the bookies offer 13-10 when it opened 6-10 if it was such a good thing?
Why so many people laying the horse on Betfair?
