Think the reason it was scratched from the HWB July was due to a high temperature - then there was talk it was sold.

See it is a nominee for the HKJC Champions Cup at the end of the month and is the current ante post favourite at 3/1.

Would be nice if the stable issued a statement as to the chances of it running or not.

Another reason to never spend a cent again. You would think the punter as a stake holder would be given the actual reason a horse is scratched instead of just making up any story the connections want. The negotiations started well before the July and yet the trainer couldn't mention to the public beforehand something along the lines of we are aiming for the July but the are negotiating a sale which may impact the horse taking part so that the punter can make an informed decision. Instead it's just silence and let people loose thier money long before the race is even running. It's things like this that give racing a reputation of insider trading and the insiders know but the public doesn't.

HWB DJ 26,i was very attentive at the winning interview of r3.The respectable part owner Kalinga didnt mention an international sale,just the return on GC Day.
However,on SM Dailey News win,same mentioned the other American partner will be flying in?
Surely a very senoir visitor from abroad cant change route to France at the 11th?

Is that not because the poly can have a maximum of 12 runners per race?
 

It may be a factor Bayern, but I see a similar trend no matter the surface.

We may be talking two different things here - after a final field is announced, if there is a scratching, you entitled to a refund or subject to a deduction - there won't price up on the eliminated horses.
