The race reminded me of the cape crawl.
So u running horses over 2000m yet u all wanna race each other in the last 400m.
Looking at the results of exotics and and. Punters are dead today.
In HK,and they playing into our pools today,they have speed maps which helps punters find out the pace and where horses
will most likely end up in the running.
Imagine trying to utilise something like that in South Africa.Same as barrier trials we tried,here it would be a big joke.

A dart board or names and numbers punters might have done well today but the form studiers where made to look stupid by false run races,some very poor rides by the jockeys and horses coming to the course unfit,unwell or just plain tired from the season they just had.
All in all I think the world punters won't go out their way to try and bet on our races in a hurry.
