plunged into darkness?

I am in the eastern side of Pretoria, all the lights and power are off, our son just called us outside to look to the sky and all we see is a quarter moon and 2 bright stars at either side, we have never seen anything like this before? Is it aliens? we have only had a couple of btl's of wine! this could be my last post,
my computer power is on low battery, all the best and thanks for the support!
if the home page is the same in the morning fear the worst.

The star to the left is Venus and to the lower right of the moon is Jupiter.

We had cloud cover in Durbs so I saw a Whiskey bottle to the left of the TV and a fine bottle of Cabernet Savignon to the right.

Decisions, decisions.
