Brent's weekend.

What a great start to the Nedbank with the 10 unit max bet of the best round being 66 or less arriving on day 1 having been tipped at 11/10.

I would have been happy enough with that start but the fact that Stenson was the man to do it is even better as I have had a 15 unit (yes I know it is above my usual max bet) on him at 10/1 (a 10% deduction will apply if he wins due to the Kim withdrawal)

I have learnt the hard way that it is too early to get excited though and I will be hoping he throws in a casual 67 or 68 today.

Back to current bets and I see my suggested match bet in today’s 2 balls (posted on site yesterday evening) has already shortened. I went for Karlsson over Donald at 8/10 with Betting World (tie no bet) and it is in to 7/10 as I write this (I also have a look at best round day 2 in the article).

Good news though is that Hollywood still have 8/10 and this is my best bet today (log on to www.sportingweb.co.za tonight and Saturday night for my round 3 and 4 bets)

3 units Karlsson/Donald at 8/10 round 2 with Hollywood – tie no bet (note I am keeping stakes on low side due to the volatility of an 18 hole match)

Hi Catsmug,

I had some freaky numbness in my arms and legs while down there on Monday and went to emergency room for a check up (I did have once before a month ago but this was worse)

Decided to cut trip short and have since had full medical, blood tests and x rays. It looks as though the problem is with a few old rugby injuries to neck and spine and heart etc was ok.

Will be heading to a specialist now but feeling much better already knowing the old ticker is ok.

Yes Stenson just needs to stay on fairways but must still attack the pins.

Sorry no idea on that one, we have a white label with them (Sportingweb bet) but not involved in the running of the site.
