Fairview Friday?
16 years 5 months ago
Good morning, on the local front we have a meeting from PE and looks rather difficult to say the least?
Maybe a stab on the first race Inaara and switch the t.v. off?
good punting!

Dave please note pick 6 carryover
HAROLD STERLEY
EASTERN Cape punters will be all out to win the Pick 6 on Friday because the popular bet starts off with a carryover of R146 850 from last Friday. The pool should swell to more than a R1 million and a share of the pool would be a wonderful way to begin the New Year.
Topping the bill is the Lady’s Bracelet worth R120 000 and run over 1600m. It is the fifth leg of the exotic bet.
Jalantra has won three of her last six starts and can be relied on to put her best foot forward. She has only raced the Western Cape once - when she beat decent Scripture by 0.50 lengths last time out. She races over the same course and distance and looks the part, despite an unfavourable draw. Richard Fourie has ridden the Jallad mare to her two previous victories and trainer Justin Snaith has engaged the rider again.
Locally based Jettatura is consistent and can never be taken lightly. This daughter of Al Mufti has been consistent in her last six starts and is at best from 1600m to 2000m.
Stable jockey Greg Cheyne remains in the irons and will also have to overcome a wide draw. However, in two of her last three starts Jettatura drew even wider and managed to run second and third, so this Alan Greeff-trained filly will put up another brave performance.
Greeff also saddles Rekindle who returns from a 77-day rest and is well drawn. The Greeff coupling and Snaith’s runner should suffice in this leg of the Pick 6

Hi Clan
I am not too sure about only putting only the Greeff and Snaith coupling - I see that Smith, Ramsden and Woodruff have runners in that race. Tread carefully!

Greetings all ... Woodruff does not travel for nothing... but I find it difficult to make a case for Albizia.. Seductress could be the one to follow.

Albizia ran a dismal race last time in blinkers, I see she is carded to run in them again???
Seductress for me, 2kg better off with Jalantra for a 1 length beating in July.
Best bet today Pinnacle Pax.
Enjoy and happy punting

Umlilo, Golden Hind won impressively last time but imo the extra 200m's will find him out. Triumphant Surge seems the one to be with, especially at the very attractive odds of 4/1.
