I was looking for an excuse to send an e-mail as the horse that I have purchased a stake in Clan Classique runs tomorrow at the Vaal in race no 2 (at 13h20)
It is around the 12/1 mark and the trainer gives it a chance so I will (have already) be putting a few rand down. For banter around the horses chances check out the African Betting Clan forum.
Back to sport and I fancy young Rory McIlroy to take out Padraig Harrington in a 72 hole match bet in this weeks Abu Dhabi champs
They actually dead heated for 11th last year (virtually matching each other round for round) and I am hoping that McIlroy will build on his 3rd place in the recent SA Open whereas Harrington (who admittedly has a good record here) may be a bit rusty.
It is the price that sways me though and the 1.25/1 at World of Sport looks good value.
