PIRATES TO BE TESTED AT HOME!
There are a couple of mouthwatering match ups in the PSL this weekend and Robert Powell reckons that Pirates may be given too much credit by the bookmakers.
Santos v Wits
Bet: 1 unit on the draw at 22/10
Maritzburg v Ajax
For all their desperation I can't see Maritzburg getting anything out of this however at a quote of 8/10 Ajax I will be sitting this one out.
Free State Stars v Supersport United
Stars are 3/1, the draw is 24/10 and Supersport are trading at 11/10.
Another match to avoid or perhaps look to go wide on in your Soccer 6.
Pirates v Arrows
This is an interesting clash and it is a surprise to see 4/1 about Arrows after their away win at Santos. They sit 3rd on the log one place ahead of their hosts who are a bit hit and miss at home. There is historically not much between these sides and in my view the 17/20 Pirates is too short and the value must lie in opposing them. Unbelievably I find myself going for another draw at 5/2 although the 4/1 Arrows got more than just a cursory glance.
