Twilight Meetings - What are the benefits

I dont see what the benefits of this initiative are. The meeting starts later and ends later - so what. I would rather have extended the meeting if they wanted to finish later. Start at the normal time and throw on a few extra maiden races to the end of the meeting so that the owners and trainers can get their maidens running.

This would also be advantageous for the operator as they can have 2 jackpots more pick 3's etc

It makes sense in Cape town where the sun sets at 8pm, but in JHB???? Seem to be grasping at straws.

Good stuff Scotia - Good luck to all of you who travel to Lagos at night - I cant even build up courage to go there in the day. Perhaps we could start a helicopter shuttle service to compliment night racing. (lol)

Weekend waste if time..during the week would be good!..we need lights up the straight only.
