Identities of Scoop6 winners still a mystery
THE WINNERS of Saturday's Scoop6 payout are likely to play for a record £2.5 million bonus with their anonymity intact after the Tote said the successful punters were "very unlikely" to come forward.
Asthe sole winners of Saturday's pot, the syndicate netted £1,541,739 from an outlay of £18,900 and have one chance to add the bonus prize of £2,469,009 by selecting the winner of the totesport Trophy at Newbury this weekend.
Tote spokesman George Primarolo said: "We'd like the winners to come forward but we think it is very unlikely. We think they have won the Scoop6 before and they didn't come forward then. They have also won the Jackpot a good few times and have not made themselves known, so it is looking unlikely.
