Tshwaro Appie is 18 years old, but one would never guess this from looking at him.

The diminutive young man weighs only 42kg and wears a size 4 shoe.

He is one of 27 apprentice jockeys at the South African Jockey Academy in Durban and is in matric and his second year at the academy.

Appie, who is from Westonarea, in Johannesburg, knew "a little bit" about horse racing from reading racing magazines. A friend encouraged him to apply to become a jockey because of his physique, and he was accepted last year.

Still very weak,but everyone starts somewhere.

Lets not forget Mansour is 24 already and was claiming 4kg's he was was and still is very affective with an allowance,but he also made mistakes,i guess part of life,just dont make the same mistake twice.
