Friday racing!

Good morning, and hope we are racing at the big T tonight? Weather has been poor.
Maybe an update?
Thinking positve, I can see that Interbet has plenty offers from the bookies.
Bazzaruto at 11/10 you can have 2/1
Good Karma at 5/2, 7/2 on offer
Highly thought of Zorbas Tale, 22/10, 3/1 on offer.
Newton Abbey 2/1 you can have 7/2
Clan Classique 8/1, a bit 14/1 was on offer, more please!
Greyville much the same with a few stretches on offer.
In the UK also plenty racing.
Doncaster: Gold Award and Mail De Bievre look best.
Fakenham: Forty Five can win again for McCoy and could make it a double with Cunning Clarets.
Lingfield on the a/w Key Regard and Itshim can give us a couple of early favs.
Newbury where Pepsyrock and Limerick Boy are the bankers.
Wolves this evening.
good punting!

THERE can be no better place to wind down ahead of the weekend than at Turffontein on Friday afternoon. The final twilight meeting of the season begins at 2.10pm and blends into the Greyville night meeting. Zorba’s Tale could be the story of the meeting in Race 5, a MR 90 Handicap over 1600m.
``Lucky’’ Houdalakis’ runner has been sparingly raced but the four-year-old has won two of his eight races and placed five times. Most significantly, he has won on the inside track.
He has not run since December but the 78-day break should not be a major obstacle. Piere Strydom gets the ride and the pair will jump from stall No 2.
Galaxy Glory is a half brother to Warm White Nights and Prince Asad but never gets the same accolades as his siblings. While he may not be ``going to Hollywood’’, he is a three-time winner and pops up every so often.
His only run over the course and distance saw him finish seventh, 8.25 lengths behind Disa Leader and Galaxy Glory. That came following a layoff and he may have needed the run.
While he has to shoulder 64kg, Tap Tap is the class horse in the line-up. Alec Laird’s five-year-old has only finished unplaced once in six outings at the track but never over the course and distance.
The Kahal gelding has taken on far stronger opposition than he meets here but it is questionable whether he will be able to concede 8.5kg to Zorba’s Tale.
Aussie’s Captain last paid a visit to the winner’s enclosure in August last year but this eight-time winner also enjoys racing at this track. He looked unlucky when finishing a 1.75-length fourth in the race won by Access Code on an objection. He suffered interference that day but was finishing best of all.

Turff pen reading 27, going soft. Sun is shining on the Wanderers as the bloody Aussies refuse to get themselves out...weather looks ok at present in Joeys.

BTW, currently sunny and hotter than an oven in Durban. It can always change in minutes, though!

Russell I went to a cricket game once at Centurian, in a box with good food and drink, but had no clue what was happening on the grass, so sorry, have not been since.
