Reminds of an old story.
Hymie Rabinowitz was crossing a road in New York and got hit by a truck that jumped a traffic light.Was taken to hospital and found a lawyer.
Every despite the doctors x-rays etc showing nothing major Hymie remained paralised totally get had to be drip fed a cared for like a baby.
Eventually the case got to court which Hymie attended in a wheelchair each day.
The insurance company were convinced that Hymie was not paralised and had followed Hymie for six monthsafter he was released from hospital but had been unable to catch him.
The jury awarded an all time record damages award of 56m dollars.
When the cheque was handed over the Press were there en mass and Hymie was ask "what are you going to do with all the money?'

Hymie Rabinowitz took a deep breath and said,"tomorrow I fly to France and an ambulance is taking me to Lourdes and I am going to pray for my health back.Believe me you will the greatest goddammed miracle ever seen in your life time"

how long ago was it that Shaik got 5 mill, & the govt, got 5 mill in interest from his " ill gotten gains " not too long ago.... no more than 3 months me thinks !

I was thinking of that very joke when I heard of his release. It just shows that well-connected people can do what they want, even when they are proved to be guilty.

Sentenced for corruption, and within hours of been imprisoned is transferred to a private hospital for malignant hypertension. A bevy of doctors cannot seem to treat this condition. (Here is a tip, if you know who they are stay clear of them if you are in need of serious medical attention). He deteriorates to the extend that he is at death’s door, and gets medical parole (facts provided by the same incompetent doctors?)
I see visions of someone with cardiac failure, renal failure and what not- caput!

So, if he is alive and well in six months time, who did he bribe to become healthy?

Probably freed 'cos they didn't want him to spill the beans before the elctions.........

Overheard in telephone coversation from Durban hospital:

"Hullow Moshalozi? Shabby here - listen boet if you don't get me out of here, the NPA have offerred me reduced sentance for turning state witness. Now you know I can nai you for all the bucks you scaled from me and my boets and the arms deal an' all so what you goin' to do?"

"Relax Comrade, you're still my friend and Comrade of the Struggle, and you know I had to keep a distance from you, but things will happen - just keep on keeping on - sick an' all."

"Thanks JZ but make it quick - otherwise I might croak before I get the 35 million back and you will see your arse before you become State President.!"

And the rest, as we know - is history!!
