Findlay looking to pool Scoop6 resources
HARRY FINDLAY has plenty on his plate this week, but the professional punter on Saturday night issued a come-and-find-me plea to the other ticket holders who will be aiming to secure the biggest payout in British racing history.
Findlay holds four of the 17 winning tickets who successfully solved the puzzle that was Saturday's Scoop6 and with each ticket holder having the chance to significantly boost their winnings of£58,806.30, Denman's part-owner is looking for all the ticket holders to pool their resources in order to finally snare the bonus fund of £3,184,369.
He said: "I have got four winners but the stress was unrealand with six picks in the 2.35 I simply forgot to double up on the favourite and lost over £50,000 on the day.
"It is imperative that I do my utmost to gang up with the other winners to make sure I get back what I've lost since the Hennessy. One regular has already signed in and the genius red rodent has also got his usual ticket.
"Anyone who would like to come in should call Dave on 07758571359.
Three of Saturday's lucky punters managed to pick all six winners from just a £2 stake whilst another two punters managed the same feat with just a £16 stake. In total, seven of the 17 winners were small staking punters.
The John Smith's Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter is the likeliest destination for the bonus race the Tote said on Saturday.
There were 4,311 winners of Saturday's Scoop6 place fund, each pocketing £58.80.

Punters home in on bumper Scoop6 bonus
THE ABSENCE of three of the declared runners for Saturday's John Smith's Midlands Grand National would have been welcomed by the Scoop6 bonus hunters looking to pick up the biggest prize ever in British horse racing history, but the decision of one of the 17 to go it alone means they will not be able to guarantee a payout.
Harry Findlay
Harry Findlay, who holds four of the tickets, put out an appeal immediately after last week's final race asking for the other ticket holders to get in contact with him, and with the punters responsible for 14 of the tickets pooling their resources, the massive bonus fund of £3,184,369, which has eluded punters for more than six months looks set to finally be won.
Findlay was still waiting for two of the ticketholders to get in contact on Friday although one of the 17 had already ruled out colluding with Findlay, Scoop 6 Squirrel Richard Brocklebank and the others.
Among those punters to have decided to join forces with Denman's part-owner in an attempt to boost their £58,608 winnings from seven days ago are Richard Rood, an auctioneer and valuer from Portsmouth who staked just £2 on his 55th birthday last week and wheelchair bound John Johnson, 75, from Dunfermline, who liked Rood staked just £2 in a Ladbrokes betting shop.
Although the bonus is almost certain to be won, the Tote are still anticipating plenty of interest in the bet.
Totepool spokesman George Primarolo said: "The record-breaking Scoop6 bonus fund is almost certainly at an end but there are a great mix of punters that are looking to land the pot this weekend.
"However, there is a slight chance that the bonus won't be won, so there will be plenty of punters playing the Scoop6 on Saturday afternoon hoping that they can get a shot at a huge prize next weekend."
The Scoop6 action takes place from Uttoxeter, Wetherby and Lingfield.
Scoop 6 races: 2.05 Uttoxeter, 2.20 Wetherby, 2.35 Uttoxeter, 3.10 Uttoxter, 3.30 Lingfield, 3.40 Uttoxeter
