A bit dead today, apart from Cheltenham.
Checking Interbet and no life in the PE market, odds up but no offers.
For this evening at Greyville, Nero is 18/10 and 5/2 on offer.
Surfing USA 5/10, 6/10 on offer, Drayton at 16/10 request for 18/10, so will probably shorten, but at the moment seen more life in a disprin in the Pacific Ocean, I gather rugby is on?
good punting

Morning all.... back at Arlington after a long break, going soft, headwind and false rail at 2m. I foresee some shock results. My best for the day is definitely Time and Love in the last at PE....

Greyville will be shouting Red Tribution home even though I still feel that MR is wrong. I dont mind being wrong on this argument. I just want to see the horse win. He has worked hard enough for it

This horse is not a 79 anymore. Tired from trying to win off a mark that is not suited

that run about a 50, it's not the weight stopping it

Agree Jack horse looked tired at the top of the straight and would have been tired at the end of a 800m scurry. Is the point not that when the horse was at its peak a few runs back he was not running off the incorrect mark. It seems this horse is being pushed to win but cant because he needs a break.
I have seen others drop through the MR a lot quicker than this.

Your horse has run against some of the same horses in previous 3 runs, and some of their ratings went up. It effectively went down by keeping same MR, but did not turn the tables even at weight turnaround. It also campaigns twice as often as others and gets re-accessed against completely different horses between times. Connections have no plan other than blindly battering the walls in the hope of discovering a door. RT has run in at least 20 hcps in a row without ever a change in gameplan, and rating from 89 to 79 for 8 2nd-4ths, always running within a lb or os only allowed the handicapper to bring you down a pound at a time. Your program has handcuffed the handicapper by relentless hcp campaigning and it's beginning to tell on the horse too.

I cannot argue with this - great response Jack. I have to agree that RT is looking tired.
I just feel sorry for the horse who seems to be racing every other day chasing a win. I reckon a break will do him some good. He is still young enough to take a break and come back and win 1 or 2 more. If they dont he will continue to struggle.
Still cant believe that this is the same horse that beat Pegasus Emblem twice. Perhaps his rating jumped too high to start with, following the 2 wins over PE

Just a quick correction - I am in no way connected to this horse. I've just been watching and waiting for him to win for a long time.
The horse has swapped stables but I see the race entries have not stopped. Can only assume that the owner is pushing trainers to race this horse.
I also think he prefers Clairwood and Scottsville straight over Greyville.
