Magic-
This pen reading still baffles me.
We did not have that much rain for the pen to read 28. Yet 2 months ago when we were having storm after storm the pen used to read about 23.
Admittedly we did have some rain last night, but still?

Baronova scratched. 50 mls of rain past 7 days and 25 mls last 24 hours, according to Tabgold site. Durban meantime has had virtually nothing this week.

Common sense prevails. I mean, why not run the sprints if the straight course is okay?

only the good lord can save gold circle...they moved meetings in march from pmb to dbn to fix the track up..they havent had rain since they PRESUMABLY inspected the course this morning but now its unfit TO RACE...come on we had the same shit at a meeting in february at pmb..for the benefit of racing either make it a dirt track or have your cart racing on it..how funny it is watching grown men pushing with their feet meanwhile the force of a horse on the ground at full speed is about 20 times more.

This is "diabolical". It is an absolute disgrace.
If the course was not ready after the patch up work, why race there. Really, we did NOT have much rain to have caused such a problem.
The inside track must be converted to a sand track.
Gold Circus must make a public statement with regards to the fiasco.

Once again Scottsville can't get through a whole card. The problem is that it never seems truly fit for racing. It's useless, to be blunt.
