Paul Whitmore of Clan Classique fame has been granted residency in Australia, and we wish him all the best for the future, not sure if he will be able to get Weekend Hussler to settle as easy as CC

Whitmore had the misfortune of riding against some of the best riders we have seen for years - Mr Van Eck pulled off many a coup using this rider - I have no doubt that had Whitmore stayed in SA he would have jumped up the ratings as he was picking up many a ride for Laird and other trainers were begining to use him - His riding in Mauritius surely proves that he was not a "weak" ride - I seem to recall him also doing well for Cliff Otto in the 80's - His longevity is testament to the fact that he should not have retired - give the guy a break Mr Masala

What Paul has forgotten about riding- the latest bunch of youngsters (excluding a handful) WILL NEVER learn. We need horseman not just jockeys.

Hot Masala, you must be a youngster or very new to racing.Paul was in the top 10 riders in the country for years, then he started his Mauritius campains which he also done extremly well or else he would never have gone back so many times.Maybe an apology is in order.
