See race 1 is the AG Hall CC maiden Plate. Does anyone know what they do. The reason I ask is that I note that they sponsor quite a few races throughout the year. You may say so what. Well AG Hall is my initials and surname.

I got all excite when I first saw and had a good bet but came up empty. Tried wice failed twice on the AG Hall race.

Maritzburg caused the biggest upset in South African football when they beat Cape Town City in the Castle Cup Final.

Good morning, must say the Durban lads are always up and about early, must be the sea air? Plenty bookies offers.

Checking Interbet.

Quick Return 15/10 on offer is 5/2

Lady Bling 12/10, 18/10 on offer
Newsagent 5/1 you can have 8/1
so I am sure that Rambo Razzle at 5/1 will shorten?

Born in Space if you fancy 4/1 you can have double the odds.

good punting!

JACK MILNER RXP

COURSE knowledge may favour Al Vino in Race 7 at Scottsville on Wednesday, a FM 86 Handicap over 1600m.

The race looks to be dominated by Michael Roberts’ five-year-old mare and Dylan Cunha’s Ami Amor. However Ami Amor is untried at a course that has been a graveyard for so many runners in the past.

Al Vino has run five times at the track for a win and two places and her wealth of experience may just give her the edge. The stable is churning out a succession of winners and the Al Mufti mare has taken on a lot stronger than she meets here.

Her last run was in a non-black type feature in which she finished a 2.25-length fourth behind Polzeath over 1800m at Clairwood. A run earlier she had gone down 3.25 lengths into third behind another Cunha inmate, Gilmore Girl.

That run will obviously give Cunha some insight into the strength of his runner’s major rival but Gilmore Girl would appear to be substantially better than Ami Amor, who looked to have got up on the line last time out over 1400m at Greyville.

The camera told a different story and she ended up narrowly beaten by Bel’s Empress. Unfortunately James Goodman’s filly failed to frank that form-line by running a dismal race against a weak field in her next start.

Touch Of Spring took a while to score her second career victory but could put a spoke in the wheel. She finished second to Gilmore Girl and 1.25 lengths ahead of Al Vino. Although she is 2.5kg worse off, Craig Eudey’s runner looks great value at her current price of 20-1.

Could the KZN 'experts' (Al, Raysing, Magic - anyone else?) please assist us with their views on some Pick 6 inclusions (bankers?) and / or brasses?

Thanks in advance.
